Mrs. Nicole Hall-Mitchell

The 2019-2020 school year marks my 20th year in education, all of which have been in the St. Charles Parish Public Schools system. I began my career as an educator in 2000 at Destrehan High School, where I created and implemented the afterschool program known as The Learning Center and taught United States History.  During my 18 years at DHS I served as a teacher-leader and spent one year as the Staff Development Coordinator before moving to Harry Hurst.

I am a 1995 graduate of Destrehan High School, where I was involved in several sports and activities.  I received my Bachelor's and Master's degree from LSU.  In 2010, I became a National Board Certified Teacher in Social Studies-History/Adolescence and Young Adults.

It will be my pleasure to work with the students and parents of the Harry Hurst Middle School Community!
