I am so excited to be continuing my seventh year of administration as a Lakewood Gator.  I am Holly Thompson and it is a pleasure to be part of the leadership team here at Lakewood Elementary.  Before earning my master’s degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2015, I was a teacher and teacher support leader at JB Martin Middle School for 16 years.  My entire teaching profession and time as an assistant principal has been in the St. Charles Parish Public School System.  I believe that each student matters and each moment counts; therefore, I take great pride in building relationships with the students to ensure they are experiencing success.  I am a proud mother of a daughter who resides in and attends school in St. Charles Parish.  I myself have been a resident of St. Charles Parish since 2001 and believe this public school system is one of the greatest assets of this parish. I am looking forward to all of the "award-winning" moments our students will experience this school year!
