High School Coursework for Carnegie Credit Guidance

The Louisiana Department of Education requires that high school students demonstrate they have met minimum course requirements to earn a Carnegie credit. SCPPS has determined that a student must complete and pass at least the majority of any course in order to meet this minimum requirement.

High school teachers will begin providing home-learning instruction that will allow all high school students in SCPPS to learn and demonstrate understanding of the most essential concepts and skills for the remainder of each course in which they are currently enrolled.

During this time of uncertainty, we know there are many questions. District and high school administration are doing our best to answer questions and make decisions during this school closure. If you have additional questions, please use this Google Form to submit any questions to school administration. The form can be accessed through this link: https://forms.gle/EvxHoRAFuWrd7nk28.
