British Literature English IV - Spring 2020
Students should begin preparing portfolio items IMMEDIATELY, as there are many additional writings and reflections required to complete the book for panel day.
ALSO - Product work is ongoing throughtout the semester. Students should begin logging product hours after receiving approval of the Proposal of Intent.

January 13-21: Research in the library
January 16 : Required Forms 1, 2, & 3
January 17: Senior Project Proposal Form Due
January 21: 8 Sources with Annotation and Typed, Signed Works Cited Due
January 24: 40 note cards & Introduction of paper Due
January 28: Typed outline & 500 words of rough draft Due
January 31: 1000 words and Required Forms 4 & 5 Due
February 3: 1500 words due
February 5: 2000 words due
February 10: Completed rough draft and 2 product logs Due
February 24-28: Mardi Gras Holidays
March 2: 1st Practice Presentations Begin (Assigned Dates announced in class)
March 3: 3 Product Logs Due
March 6: Senior Picnic
March 18: Completed research paper due with works cited page and outline; submitted to turnitin.com/editing. This constitutes 20% of the midterm exam grade. Failure to turn in your paper on this date will result in the forfeiture of 20 exam points. This means that the highest grade you will be eligible to receive on your midterm exam is 80%.
March 19 & 20: Midterm exams
March 23: 2nd Practice Presentations Begin (Assigned Dates announced in class)
April 10-17: Spring Break
March 4-April 21: Product/Portfolio/Presentation work (due dates announced during class time)
April 7: Senior Project Showcase
April 22: Dress rehearsals begin---You must wear what you plan to wear the day of the panel presentations so that your attire may be approved. YOUR PRODUCTS AND PORTFOLIOS MUST BE COMPLETE BY THIS TIME!!!!!
April 30-May 1: Presentation set-up in assigned rooms
