Career Development Facilitator:
Stefanie Ward is responsible for collaborating within district and state guidelines to implement required College and Career Readiness initiatives, establishing work-based learning and career preparation opportunities for all students, monitoring student work-based learning, job shadows and field experiences, and maintaining dual enrollment procedures for local post-secondary institutions. She also serves on numerous Career & Technical Education advisory boards, manages the school CT&E budgets, facilitates our Partner-in-Education cooperative, hosts school-community relations events, and writes and manages grants for a number of educational programs. In addition, she manages and reports student-earned Industry-Based Certifications, as requirements dictate for the JumpStart TOPS Tech Career diploma pathway, and coordinates our many education opportunities beyond the school day. School-to-Career Assistants:
Dana Buhler is responsible for managing dual enrollment data, student work permits, mock professional interviews, NCCER test proctoring, and hosting on-site community events. She also facilitates our Work-Based Learning programs - coordinating student job shadows, internships, and field experiences. Contact: dbuhler@stcharles.k12.la.us
Jamaica Hawkins provides clerical assistance to the School-to-Career office and the office of the Athletic Directors. She is available to confer with students from 7:30-11:00. Contact: jhawkins@stcharles.k12.la.us
