I am honored to serve as an assistant principal at Hahnville High School. Being a part of this leadership team has been one of the great privileges of my professional career. I have been here at Hahnville for nine years. Working with the faculty, staff, students, and parents that make up our Hahnville family is truly an honor. Prior to my appointment at Hahnville High School, I taught Louisiana History at JB Martin for 9 years. My life in education is dedicated to my mother, my greatest inspiration, who was a teacher for 19 years and never thought of teaching as a "job" but more of a vocation.

My educational background includes earning my high school diploma from Archbishop Shaw, my Bachelor's degree from LSU and my Master's in Educational Leadership from UNO. The time I have spent working in St. Charles Parish has afforded me the opportunity to work with children to overcome adversity, to work with parents giving advice, and to work with teachers and staff members encouraging them to look for a better way to serve. Our district is committed to making sure all students receive a high-quality education and the support they need to achieve their goals. We have had the opportunity to reimagine services that we provide to help young people grow into the best version of themselves that they can possibly be.

My duties include evaluating the Social Studies Department, serving on HAT, serving as the administrator over athletics, and the coordinator of school safety, security, and maintenance. My most fulfilling duties are the ones that allow me to talk with students, teachers, and parents. Our school is full of dynamic students, dedicated teachers, professional staff and supportive parents. I hope to support students in achieving their goals and working to their full potential so they can leave this world a little better than they found it.
