St. Charles Parish Public Schools honored its teachers of the year at the annual Teachers of the Year Banquet on Thursday, March 9.  Attendees of the annual banquet, sponsored by Shell Norco, were transported to Emerald City with this year's theme of "There's no place like home!" Sixteen teachers were honored as the teacher of the year for their respective schools. Three teachers were selected as the parish teachers of the year: Elementary School Teacher of the Year Aimee Vedros of Allemands Elementary School, Middle School Teacher of the Year Annette Blanchard of J.B. Martin Middle School, and High School Teacher of the Year Macy LeFleur of Destrehan High School.
