Welcome to my class.  This is my eleventh year teaching and my eighth year at Hahnville High School.  I am looking forward to a great year of learning with your students as we navigate exciting and challenging literature. I will teach English I and Intensive English this year.

I am a graduate of Hahnville High School and it is my honor to be here with the students of my alma mater. I am a graduate of Nicholls State University with a BS in 4-8 Education, and certified in Secondary English. I also hold a Masters in Educational Leadership from Nicholls State. 

This year I will incorporate Google Classroom with our district provided Chromebooks. Google Classroom is a tool that allows me to post announcements and reminders for students. It also allows for class assignments and submissions to be posted and collected digitally.

The supplies needed for English I  are:

Pencils

Highlighters (Yellow, green, blue, orange)

sticky notes

* When school begins, students will be asked to bring extra pencils for classroom supply. These will be available for all students to access.

 * Students will be asked to bring a three-prong plastic folder in a color specific to the class.
