• The Literary Society

The Literary Society promotes student appreciation and active participation in literary pursuits. During the month of April, and depending on student participation, a poetry slam (Coffee House Night) is planned.  Students are also invited to join the Literary Society's Creative Writing Club

    The Creative Writing Club

The Creative Writing Club was created for students to delve deeper into their creative writing abilities. The club provides a safe haven for experimental writing to take place in poetry, fiction, and nonfiction that can be shared with other club members. Various contests and publishing opportunities are made available to challenge students to aim for a goals within the writing and publishing world. Students will be able to edit and refine their work, as well as take part in writing exercises that help to combat the dreaded "writer's block."

The Creative Writing Club meets in the library every Wednesday from 2:30-4:40 and is free of charge.
