Welcome to my seventh grade ELA class.  This is my twenty-second year teaching and my eleventh year at Harry Hurst Middle School.  I am looking forward to growing our minds this year.

We will incorporate Google Classroom with our district provided Chromebooks.  Google Classroom is a tool that allows me to post announcements and reminders for students.  It also allows for class assignments and submissions to be posted to and collected digitally.

To access Google Classroom, please use the following link https://classroom.google.com/ and have your child log into their Google account. You can locate your child's Google username and password in the front cover of their planner. Once logged in, you can review class announcements, assignments and course information.  You can also view Google Docs from the "Google Classroom" link on the left side of the menu.

For quarter 1, our main text and any supplementary texts, we are using in class will be attached to the Documents tab each week as we use them.  Please feel free to re-read these documents at home with your child(ren).
