Update for April 27, 2020
Hi my wonderful kiddos and families,
It is time for Phase 3 of our at home learning. I wish I could be the one to teach you all of this fun new learning but sadly, you will have to do it at home. Your assignments will show up on Google Classroom at 8:00 a.m. every Monday. I will also post it into a tab on this page labeled as Phase 3 Weekly Assignments. You will find that there is one file for each day of the week. Complete each days assignments on the day it is titled as. You will need to use some resources from the tab labeled Resources for Phase 3 or just Resources. It is where you will find the Sam readers, the writing paper template and the sight word list. Your child will be required to spend time on Lexia, Zearn, and Splash Learn. Make sure you can log into all of these. If you need anything, please send me a text or call me. Make sure to take a picture or a video of your child's learning and post it to Google Classroom. If you have trouble with this, you can send me it in a text message. I will be in contact Monday or Tuesday to set up small group Zoom meetings for Friday, May 1st with your child. In a couple of weeks, I will be setting up individual Zoom meetings to assess each of my students for the end of the year assessments. I will be monitoring their progress through work you send me and following them on the websites they will be working on each day. I can view their mistakes, time spent on the website, what level they are on and more. I am eager to see all of the learning going on in your homes and I know you all will show them how very smart you are. Keep up the hard work guys and know that I miss you more than you will ever know you Silly Little Monsters. I bet our MONSTERS on our walls in class miss us to!! What do you think?

Hello Families and my wonderful students,
I am so sad to have heard that we will not be returning to school this year. I was looking forward to the end of the year learning and spending so much fun time together. Teacher and student appreciation week are some of my favorite times of the year. I am sad to know that we will not get to celebrate together. But the good news is, our learning will continue. We will continue our learning through our webpage here, on Zearn, Lexia, and Google Classroom. Make sure that you are able to access all of these at the beginning of this week. If you need help, please text or call me. I will be contacting you all between Monday and Wednesday to talk about Phase III. Continuing our education is highly important so that our kiddos can retain information they have already learned as well as learn new information that is beneficial for first grade. I have added new activities and read alouds. Please check those out. Please let your child know that I miss him/her very much and I hope you all are doing well during this tough time. Stay safe and spend lots of time together as a family. I will be in touch soon.
I miss you all,

Hello Families and Students,
I continue to miss my class more and more each day! Next week is spring break and I hope you take some time to relax and enjoy some family time. During the break make sure you have logged onto Google Classroom, Zearn and Lexia. We will be using these, plus this webpage in our Phase 3 learning. After spring break, I will begin calling each of you to discuss how to help your child at home and our shift into Phase 3 learning.
As we move into Phase 3, it is important that your child establishes a schedule and participates in daily lesson/activites that will be assigned here. There will be a new tab labeled with the dates of that week followed by Weekly Assignments. The work we complete in Phase 3 will allow us to reteach and assess report card standards that are essential for them to be prepared for 1st grade. Please continue to utilize my webpage for activities to do while we are on our spring break.

Hello Families and Students,
I hope this message finds you well. Over the next few weeks I will be adding new information, links for websites, at home learning work, activities, ect. This page will become very overwhelming and crowded. I decided to create new tabs next to my picture to help organize this webpage better. Click on the tab labeled At Home Learning to find new activities, worksheets, decodable texts, etc. I added the Read Alouds tab so that your child can see me and hear new stories. It is through Schooltube and you will be prompted to create an account to view these. I plan to add at least 1 per week but maybe more. The tab that says Interestin Web Sources is where I will add websites that will benefit your child. I hope you choose to utilize some of these materials to help your child retain all what they have learned. I will update my webpage on Mondays but I will add new things periodically. Check it at least on Mondays but try to check it out more. I will be contacting you this week to check in with you and have a little chat. Talk to you soon and please tell your sweet babies that I miss them!
Hello Families and Students,
I hope you are all doing well during this Covid 19 virus outbreak. I truly miss your children and I hope to get to see them again soon. I will be updating my webpage weekly with any new important information that is beneficial to you. Please continue to work on the packet sent out by the School Board office. Reading daily is very important to help your child become a confident and fluent reader. Have your child write about things he/she is doing or new things they may have learned. Please contact me if you need anything at anytime. I hope you stay safe and well. Below is a link to home learning opportunities that you can do with your child.
