Welcome to the Counselors' Page

  • We are wishing you all a safe and happy summer!

This has been a difficult school year for all students and parents, and we want you to know that we are here, as always to support you in any way we can. Please visit Mrs. Rudiger's webpage for online resources as well as you child's homeroom teacher's page for more information as well. If any of you are in need of counseling resources, please email one of us, and we will be happy to send you a list of community resources and work with you to get you any support you or your family may need. During these times, try as best as possible to keep routines and schedules. Outside activities, calls with families and friends, and figuring out ways for alone time for both parents and kids is important.

Keeping gratitude in mind improves physical health, reduces aggression, improves sleep, enhances self-esteem, increases empathy, and more (Positive Psychology). The following link has more helpful informationa nd could be a good resource for people of all ages: https://positivepsychology.com/gratitude-exercises/. Attached under our documents is a worksheet to go along with this lesson, but just writing down, drawing, or verbalizing three small things we are thankful for each day is a great way to edvelop gratitude.

    April 27th Weekly Lesson: Self-Esteem

We all have unique qualities, and it is important to remember what we love about ourselves. When we feel good about ourselves, we are happier and healthier. Listen to the read aloud of Spaghetti in a Hot Dog Bun: Having the Courage to Be Who You Are, and complete the activities under Counselor Docs.
