Mrs. Duplessis earned her Bachelor's Degree in Secondary English Education in 2007 from Southeastern Louisiana University. She went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Counselor Education from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2011. This is her 12th year as a school counselor here at Hurst. She previously taught middle school English at J.B. Martin Middle School for several years. Mrs. Duplessis is the counselor for students for teams 4, 5, and 6 (Students in 8^th Grade and ½ of 7^th Grade).
