Since spring 2009, FRC 3039 has emerged as an popular high school robotics competition team, supported by the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) non-profit STEM organization, and sponsored by business and industry in the river parishes. In addition to being effective on the competition field, the team's determination to promote STEM education has placed it as a powerhouse in spreading the mission of FIRST, advocating #growFIRSTfaster!
In 2017, we added FTC 13939-Team Equinox to provide hands-on competition training for our freshmen and sophomores.
If you are interested in a site visit by our group or would like to make a tax-exempt donation to help us compete or support our youth outreach programs, email Brian Young or Stefanie Ward.
