Welcome to my class.  This is my 13th year teaching and my fifth year teaching at Hahnville High School.  I am looking forward to guiding the students as they grow in their knowledge and understanding of mathematics. It is a privilege to facilitate their growth in collaboration with peers, positive leadership and confidence in the subject and as contributing members of our community. This year I will be teaching geometry and advanced mathematics.

I graduated with a first class honors Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Brunel University, London, and was awarded a post-graduate certificate of education in secondary mathematics by Manchester Metropolitan University in 1992. All my British qualifications were validated by WES here in the US for out-of-state recognition and I requalified as a secondary mathematics teacher in 2017. Don't be surprised if I say 'maths' though instead of 'math'.

Geometry Supplies: 1.5" binder with looseleaf, 3 sheet protectors or dividers with pockets, index cards (3"x5"), pencils, and a highlighter. Scientific calculator, compass and straight edge(ruler) for home use.
