Ms. Lacy A. Trosclair

Welcome to my 8th grade English language arts class.  This is my 12th year teaching and my 4th year at R.K. Smith Middle School. I am looking forward to fostering an appreciation for literature and writing in all students, while promoting a culture of unity and respect.

This year I will incorporate Google Classroom with our district-provided Chromebooks. Google Classroom is a tool that allows me to post announcements and reminders for students. It also allows for class assignments and submissions to be to posted and collected digitally.

To access Google Classroom, please use the following link https://classroom.google.com/ and have your child log into his or her Google account. Once logged in, you can review class announcements, assignments, and course information.
