Mrs. Chaisson earned a master’s degree in psychological counseling from Nicholls State University in 2000. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She is also a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a National Certified School Counselor (NCSC). This is her 7th year at Hurst. She has previously been a counselor at J.B. Martin Middle School and at Creative Family Solutions. Mrs. Chaisson will be the counselor for teams 1, 2, and 3 (Students in 6^th grade and ½ of 7^th Grade).
