Hello Gators! 

This is my 8th year teaching and my 6th year teaching at Lakewood Elementary. I went to college at an HBCU called Prairie View A&M University. I majored in Pre-k through 6th general education and theatre. I am currently in grad school for my degree in Curriculum Instruction. I absolutely love teaching and love LWE. 

We have made it to the 2023-2024 school year and I couldn't be more excited! I am so happy to have your 3rd grader in my class this year. I am looking forward to teaching your child ELA this year. Please do not hesitate to email or call if you need anything.

This year I will incorporate Google Classroom with our district providing Chromebooks. Google Classroom is a tool that allows me to post announcements and reminders for students. It also allows for class assignments and submissions to be posted and collected digitally. With  the student login, parents can also access student work and see what's happening in our class. 

To access Google Classroom please use the following link https://classroom.google.com/ and have your child log in to their Google account. Once logged in, you can review class announcements, assignments and course information. You can also view Google Docs from the "Google Classroom" link on the left side of the menu.
