May 18th-update-Good morning, class! This is our LAST week of first grade!  ALL of our classwork for the week can be found on our google classroom as well as on the Stakeholder Information sheet. Remember students must be logged into their school google account to access the work. This week is exciting, but not the ending I wanted. I hope to see you today for Morning Meeting at 10:30 AM and again Friday. Friday we will do Awards Day for Morning Meeting! We will NOT have small group this week, but we WILL have one-on-one meets. I can't wait to see you! 

May 11th-update-Happy Monday! I hope you are staying safe and healthy! We are now entering the 3rd week of Phase III! This week will follow the same pattern as previous weeks. ALL of our classwork for the week can be found on our google classroom as well as on the Stakeholder Information sheet. Remember students must be logged into their school google account to access the work. We will have two morning meetings this week, Monday and Friday at 10:30 AM! Don't forget we also have google hangout times this week for one on ones and support group. Please look at the schedule for your times, which is also posted under our Stakeholder Information Sheets. Please reach out to me if you need any help! Stay safe and wash your hands!

April 27th update-Happy Monday! Today is the FIRST day of Phase III! Let's start it off on the right foot! April 20th update- I hope you each had a safe, happy Spring Break even at home. This week I will be updating our Google Classroom page daily so check there for all updates! Please take time to fill out the Google Hangout/Zoom form so I can schedule 1:1 with students who would like to chat. I will be posting a video each day at 7:00 a.m. with me reading a chapter from Days with Frog and Toad. Remember to try and get on Zearn and Lexia daily. April 10th update- Happy Spring Break! From April 10-17, we will honor our previously planned Spring Break. Please utilize any of the resources posted in our Google Classroom or on my webpage. If you need assistance, please text, call, or email. You also still access the At Home Learning site for resources,  http://bit.ly/SCPPS-HLO. I have also posted some Spring Break Activities in our Google Classroom and under the Stakeholder Information Sheets tab. Stay safe and enjoy this break! 

April 6th update- Happy Spirit Week 2020! Please email or text me photos of your child celebrating Spirit Week or have them post to Google classroom. Be sure to utilize Zearn, Lexia, Epic! MyOn, and other class resources. You can also use the At Home Learning site, http://bit.ly/SCPPS-HLO for more resources, or our google classroom or the COVID-19 tab on this website. Stay safe! 

March 30th update- I hope you are all doing well during this extended school closure. I miss each of you so much and cannot wait to see you again!   • Dear Stakeholders,

     

    Listed below, click the link, are suggested time frames for each subject area to support continuous learning and retention of concepts and skills.  This schedule is not intended for you to complete all subject areas each day with your child.  In order to align home-learning with what has been taught at school, families are encouraged to access and utilize Amplify (ELA) and Great Minds (Math). 

     

    You may choose one of the other resources listed below each subject you focus on for the day. The additional resources provide learning opportunities for your students in each subject. Your child’s teacher may also provide additional home learning activities. While working within these resources, it is suggested that you allow your child to remain within a resource for several days (maybe a week) in order to build concepts, reinforce skills, and promote independence and mastery.
