Open Tutoring Sessions:
I am excited to announce that HMS is now offering several open tutoring sessions for students that need additional help or support in core subject areas. Please see the schedule attached- if the session has a ** , that session is open to your child. Some sessions have more than one time available (8th grade math, 6th grade SS, 6th grade science) so you can find a time that works best for your child. If you would like your child to attend a tutoring session, please reach out to their core subject teacher for more information on how to join.
If you have a question or need assistance with any of the changes, please email email@example.com.
Welcome to the Tutoring Page!
We are currently working on setting up our Tutoring Program for the 20-21 school year so we can give additional support to our Roadrunners. Please check back next week for a parent request form and updated schedule of when sessions are being offered. If you have any questions, please contact Ami Houston at firstname.lastname@example.org.
There will be no tutoring sessions on Monday and Tuesday of Thanksgiving Week (November 23-37). We will resume tutoring sessions when we return from Thanksgiving break! Have a great holiday and we look forward to seeing you when we get back!
Hello! Our tutoring program is up and running! Here are a few new things to note:
-If your child has been enrolled in a tutoring session, they should have an invitation to their tutor's Google Classroom page. Please accept that.
-If your child has been enrolled, an attempt was made to contact you via SchoolStatus to let you know of the day and time of their sessions. If you did not receive a message, please let us know your preferred contact information so we can communicate with you as needed.
-If your child is not enrolled and you would like for them to be, please reach out to your child's teacher in the subject area for which you are requesting and express your interest in their participation in the tutoring program.
-If your child has been enrolled and has not been attending, they are at risk of being removed from a session if they do not attend their sessions. Please encourage consistent participation by your child.
-If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact Ami Houston at email@example.com.
Thank you so much for your patience as your tutoring requests are being processed. Teachers and Mrs. Houston should be reaching out to you soon with tutoring information for your child's session. There is currently a waiting list for 6th Grade Math tutoring sessions, so as soon as a space becomes available, parents will be notified with session information. Thank you!
HMS Tutoring starts TODAY, October 5! If your child is enrolled in a tutoring session, messages were sent out over the weekend to parents via SchoolStatus regarding their tutor, day, and time of the sessions. Your child also received an invitation to their tutor's Google Classroom where they can find additional information, as well as the Google Meet for their sessions. All sessions will be VIRTUAL this year.
If you have requested your child attend tutoring, these are being processed as quickly as possible, so your patience is greatly appreciatd. If you have any questions, please email Ami Houston at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you!
Tutoring will begin October 5th for Harry Hurst Middle School. We look forward to working with you, and if you have any questions, please email Ami Houston at email@example.com.
