Hello, and welcome to Ms. Picolo's 6th grade science class! This is my fourth year at ACM. I am a co-sponsor for ACM's GYRL Talk Club (Growing Young Responsible Ladies) and will be co-sponsoring the 4H Club this year as it returns to ACM. I'm looking forward to building connections with all of our students and sparking a life-long appreciation for all things science.
This year I will incorporate Google Classroom with our district provided Chromebooks. Google Classroom is a tool that allows me to post announcements and reminders for students. It also allows for class assignments and submissions to be posted and collected digitally.
To access Google Classroom please use the following link https://classroom.google.com/ and have your child log into their Google account. Once logged in, you can review class announcements, assignments and course information. You can also view Google Docs from the “Google Classroom” link on the left side of the menu.
To stay up to date on our weekly classroom activities, please access the Family Information Guide (FIG) weekly. It is posted on the school website as well as the 6th grade Google Classroom.
