Mr. Schulze

Hello Everyone,

My name is Andrew Schulze, and this is my third year working at Luling Elementary school. I graduated from LSU in 2015 with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education. I started working in St. Charles Parish and St. John the Baptist Parish for about three years, also tutoring and becoming a manager at a Sylvan Learning Center. I decided I wanted to see more of the world, so I moved to Japan in the Fall of 2018 and started to work with Japanese children, teaching them how to speak English. I switched to working at an International school in Tokyo for a year and a half before I decided to come back to the US to teach in our public schools again. I am very excited about helping your students learn throughout the year, and look forward to working with them and you as a team.

This year, I will incorporate Google Classroom with our district-provided Chromebooks. Google Classroom is a tool that allows me to post announcements and reminders for students. It also allows for class assignments and submissions to be posted and collected digitally. To access Google Classroom, please use the following link, https://classroom.google.com and have your child log into their Google Account. Once logged in, you can review class announcements, assignments and course information. You can also view Google Docs from the "Google Classroom Link" on the left side of the menu.

Sincerely,

Andrew Schulze
