• ACM Choir

  • Welcome to the Albert Cammon Middle School Choral Program. I am very excited to be returning to ACM for my 16th year of instruction. ACM Choirs are among some of the top Choral groups throughout St. Charles Parish, as well as other District VII Choirs.  Our members have participated in  of Louisiana All-State, District VII, and St. Charles Parish Honor Choirs, as well as participated in the District and State levels of Vocal Music Assessment.  Thus, being a member of any of the Cammon Choirs is both an honor and a privilege.  EVERYONE is welcome in Choir!  If you would like to lean more about becoming a part of our family, please contact Mrs. Luquette!

  • OBJECTIVES

    1. To further the development of singing and music reading skills which are necessary to the attaining a quality choral organization.

    2. To enjoy making music. Music is a fun, but there is no fun in mediocrity. Therefore, students, parents, and the director must realize their responsibilities and be willing to strive earnestly towards a common goal.

    3. To have a good attitude about choir. The amount of satisfaction and fun that you receive from being in the choir will be no greater than the amount of hard work and enthusiasm you are willing to consistently contribute.

    4. To understand the importance of proper conduct, consideration of others, and courtesy as a vital part of the choir.
