My name is Jason Smothers. I'm a graduate of DHS class of 91. I have 10 years of classroom experience. This will be my 7th year at DHS. I will be teaching ED- Resource. I look forward to all the young scholars that enter my room. We try to foster an environment that promotes not only learning but community and relationships.  I have a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Kinesiology, Communication Studies, and Business Administration from Louisiana State University. In addition, I am an assistant football coach as well as an assistant LadyCats basketball coach.
