Welcome to Harry Hurst! I am Ms. Callahan and I teach 7th grade American History. This is my 6th year teaching and my first year at Harry Hurst Middle School. I am a proud graduate of Destrehan High School and earned my Bachelors degree at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I am looking forward to getting to know each one of my students and sharing my passion for history. 

Each week I will be posting a weekly agenda detailing our plans for the week. Each agenda includes day by day learning, a study plan, and any upcoming graded assignments. These agendas will also be posted on my Google Classroom pages for students to see as well. I have also linked a calendar on my page as well to denote when there will be a graded assignment. Information on how to prepare for that assignment (including study links) will be laid out in detail on the assignment.
