Hi, I'm Taheerah Britton, and welcome to my faculty page. I teach English 2 and 3. This is my nineteenth year in education, and my first year at Destrehan High School. I previously taught in Alabama, Maryland, Washington, DC, and New Orleans, LA. In addition to teaching middle and high school English, I taught writing at the University of Maryland Global Campus. 

Students are enrolled in Google Classrooms correlating to their courses and will submit the majority of their schoolwork there. Parents wishing to view the appropriate Classrooms are welcome to email me for links.  I will send important information and updates through School Status and am always available through email.
