Welcome to my class. This is my 15th year teaching and my 16th year at Hahnville High School. I am looking forward to teaching your child.  I will teach Environmental Science.

In 2015 and 2019 I had the priviledge and honor of being selected as a 2015 and 2019 Louisiana State finalist for the Presdiential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science. The Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) are the nation's highest honors for teachers of mathematics and science Awardees serve as models for their colleagues, inspiration to their communities, and leaders in the improvement of mathematics and science education.    

I am the creator and sponsor of Alpha Mu Omega sisterhood and community service organization. I have been sponsoring the club since 2007. I am also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education with a concentration in Biology and General Science from Southern University A & M of Baton Rouge, La. I also earned a Masters in Educational Leadership.
