A message from Ms. Jaubert

Well, guys, it's official. We will not be returning to our school building to finish this school year. While this makes me sad, I am thankful to have this forum to keep up with all of you and your well being.  I can't believe our awesome 8th graders are going to be Wildcats.  I sure hope I get to see you all before you're off to start your new chapters in high school.

With regards to the library, I remain here to help through this last month and a half of school.  Please come to me if there is anything I can help you with for any of your classes.  I will do my very best to assist you in any way that will help you be more successful.  I have opened a Google classroom for each grade level and will be checking in on Gooogle Meet daily. Each of your ELA teachers was given the class code for your grade level. Send me a message at anytime if you need something.

Lastly, and most importantly (to me), don't forget the power of reading!  I know it is easy to get into the mindset of reading being another "have to", but I challenge you to shift this perspective.  Let reading be something you "want to" do.  It's such a great way to get smarter without even trying.  Read to learn, read to escape, read to be entertained...just READ!

Don't forget all these available options...

Join and check your grade level Library Google Classroom for announcements and happenings.

Log on to your myOn account.  (Let me know if you need help with this.)  AND....

The parish library has digital books that can be checked out if you have a library card.  Use the link below, and search for something you might enjoy.

Welcome to the ACM library webpage.  We are looking forward to assisting all Pirates with research and discovering their next favorite book.

The library is open to students all day, every day, but lunchtime is our busiest time.  Stop by to squeeze in some studying, read a book or magazine, research on the computers or challenge your friends to a fun game.  The possibilites are endless.

The mission of our Library Media Center is to foster the love of reading, ensure that all members of the learning community are engaged and effective users of information and technology, and support the school curriculum.
