Tamika Green Named St. Charles Parish Principal of the Year

The St. Charles Parish Public School System is proud to announce the selection of its 2018-2019 Principal of the Year.

Tamika Green received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Xavier University and her Masters in Educational Administration from the University of New Orleans.  Prior to her appointment in 2006 as principal of R.J. Vial Elementary School, she served as a teacher at Luling Elementary School, an administrative assistant at Allemands Elementary School, and an assistant principal at Hahnville High School.  Her tenure as principal at Albert Cammon Middle School began in 2009.  Ms. Green is a member of the Louisiana Association of Principals, the Louisiana Association of School Executives, the American Association of School Administrators, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, the Louisiana Reading Association, and the International Literacy Association.

Ms. Green will now represent the district in the state competition.  She was honored at the Principal of the Year Spotlight Soirée on October 25.  Good luck Tamika, and congratulations!
